Customizing User Information Display Settings

Throughout LearnCenter, there are features that better enable managers and colleagues to quickly access learner profile data, learning history, goals, and associated job profiles. You can indicate whether those features are visible in your LearnCenter and customize what information displays for them.

You can enable or disable User Cards on a per LearnCenter basis. What you set in one LearnCenter is inheritable to all subs, but is disabled by default.

On the ControlPanel:

  1. Click on the Options menu to expand it.
  2. Click Configuration.
  3. Click the Users tab.
  4. Scroll down if necessary to view the Users section.

  1. Select one of the following for Display Dashboards in Users:

By default dashboards are hidden in the root LearnCenter and all sub LearnCenters are set to inherit the settings of the root LearnCenter (so the dashboards will be hidden in all LearnCenters until you change the settings here).

This setting only affects what displays on the Users page and not the My Team™ dynamic object.

  1. Click the User Cards check box to indicate you want User Cards to be available for this LearnCenter. Additional fields display if you click this check box.
    or
    Clear this check box to hide User Cards for this LearnCenter.
  1. Click the User Card Stats check box to indicate you want additional information (or stats) available on the User Cards. Additional fields display if you click this check box.
    or
    Clear the check box to prevent stats from displaying on the User Cards.

  1. Click the Courses check box to make users’ courses information display on the User Cards. 
    or
    Clear the check box to prevent the courses information from displaying on the User Cards.
  2. Click the Learning Plans check box to make users’ Learning Plans information display on the User Cards.
    or
    Clear the check box to prevent the Learning Plans information from displaying on the User Cards.
  3. Click the Job Profiles check box to make users’ job profiles information display on the User Cards.
    or
    Clear the check box to prevent the job profiles information from displaying on the User Cards.
  4. Click the Skills check box to make users’ skills information display on the User Cards.
    or
    Clear the check box to prevent the skills information from displaying on the User Cards.
  5. Click Save.
